LSM Construction is a Hillsborough-based building company working across Auckland - from Silverdale in the north to Pokeno in the south, and from Piha to Kawakawa Bay. We operate as a small, focused team of two to five on any given project, with LBP supervision on all work that requires it. Five years operating as LSM, with over twelve years' industry experience behind it. We deliver work to the same standard we expect on our own homes.

The standard on a $2,000 weatherboard repair is the same as on a $400,000 renovation - proper materials, proper substructure, proper finish. Our reviews talk about workmanship more than any other word, and we measure against that every job.
Itemised fixed-price quotes wherever possible. Hourly where it makes more sense for the client. We tell you what something will cost before we start it - and if something hidden turns up mid-build, we tell you that too, in writing, before the variation goes in.
If a job isn't within our scope, we'll say so on the first call. We'd rather refer it on than take work we can't do well - that's how we keep the standard up across everything we do put our name on.
One named contact through the build, weekly updates as standard, photos when the site's quiet. Most issues on a build come from a missed message; we run the job so that doesn't happen.
A real number of LSM clients have come back for a second, third or fourth project. The minor-dwelling client becomes the renovation client; the renovation client becomes the new-build client.
None of the licences below are unique to LSM. What matters is that they are current, and wherever a register is public, you can check it yourself. We list everything we hold clearly and in writing for full transparency.
